About the Author;

Elisabeth has been food self-sufficient for the past twenty-five years on 6 acres at Black Mountain west of Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and has been well known for teaching cheese making, sourdough bread, kimchi, sauerkraut, miso, tempeh and many other fermenting methods for fifteen years in her workshops all over Queensland, NSW and beyond.

Elisabeth also taught through Brisbane North TAFE teaching Horticulture using Permaculture. Classes were regularly held at the Blue House at the Yandina Community gardens and many people have enjoyed this introduction to organic gardening.
